Tiffany and Ian were married earlier this summer in an intimate setting in Tiffany’s ancestral home of Sweden, where her grandparents and other members of her family who are unable to travel, could also bear witness to the occasion. They both grew up in New England, and enjoy a shared love for winter, the outdoors, and snowboarding. The weather was cold, raining, and blustery on November 1st when they had their second wedding ceremony here in the States, at the Nonantum Resort, but Tiffany quite literally shook it off, like the delightfully positive spirited person she is. And, being snowboarders (I photographed their winter engagement session on their snowboard earlier this year!), they were both used to cold weather and we still did all of their family and couples portraits outside in the rain. Some of my favorite moments from the day was Tiffany in her rain boots, clicking her heals underneath an umbrella held by Ian, or the time when her uncle joined the band and played the trumpet, or when they called her grandparents on FaceTime in Sweden from the reception, so that Tiffany’s grandparents could see the Nonantum all decorated for them. To Tiffany and Ian, we wish you many more years of love, laughter, and playing in the rain.
