Christi and Joe have enjoyed a life long friendship which brings with it a sense of comfort and familiarity that was as much evident between them as it was with their friends and family. They were married on a fall day in midcoast Maine, with a small gathering of just their closest relationships at Vesper Hill Children’s Chapel, over looking Penobscot Bay. A short drive back to Camden to the historic Whitehall Inn after photos in the garden, lead to a night of laughter, celebration, and love. Here is a little of their story, in their own words.
“We met in 6th Grade. We’re from a small town in Ohio. Joe was the new kid in town and I met him outside our middle school. Though it wasn’t love at first site (unless you ask my mom, she’ll tell you I’ve always had a crush on Joe) we maintained a friendship throughout middle school, high school, and college. I went to college at the University of Kentucky and when I moved back to Ohio after graduation Joe invited me out a few times which eventually led to us dating. We parted ways breifly for graduate school. Joe moved to Arizona to attend ASU and I moved to Boston to get my Masters in Architecture. Joe decided after he graduated that Boston was the place to be, so he packed up and moved across the country to be with me. The rest is history! We’ve lived in Boston for 5 years. We’ve spent the majority of our life together, and we’re excited to spend the rest together too!”
To Christi and Joe, it was an honor to witness your wedding day and we wish for you many happy years of marriage!
